Oh yes Friday afternoons are terrible on the Railjet, but not as bad as Sunday! We have the reverse problem as you, we want to check out Albania but have no good ways to get there.
Thanks for the perspective on Railjet. Live and learn, I suppose! And, yeah, the lack of strong, reliable public transportation infrastructure in Albania can make it tricky to visit. But there are lots of ways to make it work depending on where exactly you want to go once you fly into Tirana.
